KOLD shapes Horizon II

The HORIZON II – for big air and high-performance freeride.
A tremendous amount of development work went into this board – every detail has been fine-tuned to give you a new level of control, comfort, and height during your big air sessions.

The HORIZON II shares its outline and rocker curve with the POLAR II, allowing it to ride smoothly through any chop. This translates to excellent knee comfort , easier takeoffs, and soft landings. A full-length anti-negative flex stringer, made from renewable flax fiber , ensures maximum control during landing. This prevents you from diving during fast landings and provides the necessary stability.

Compared to the POLAR II, the HORIZON II is tuned slightly stiffer —just right for loading your edge for big jumps, but still comfortable enough to absorb hard impacts. The new 3D deck construction gives the board an even more direct feel and additional feedback. The integrated grip cavity helps you confidently control your board-offs .

The deeper double concave combined with the innovative tip channel construction ensures maximum edge hold – crucial for big turns, high-speed control, and maximum height on your jumps. At the same time, the double concave reduces weight and improves early planing and upwind performance .

The 145 cm size was specifically optimized for wakestyle —with more rocker, a stiffer flex, and aligned inserts for a new level of unhooked riding . But don't worry: Even the smaller sizes of the HORIZON II offer enough pop to land your first S-bends or handle passes.

Of course, the HORIZON II remains true to our philosophy:
Wood core , flax fiber , made in Europe , CO₂-neutrally produced , and sustainably packaged – with cardboard and wood instead of plastic. And most importantly: It will serve you faithfully for a long time!
